What have the KCG done before? Exhibitions and events...

The Knit and Crochet guild try and promote themselves as much as possible by visiting various events and exhibitions around the country every year. The most well known events they exhibit at are The Knitting and Stitching Shows, Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts, British Wool Weekend, and Yorkshire Wool Week., including many more.
The KCG are keen to promote themselves at events like this in order to get more people interested and on-board with the Guild. They are always pleased to welcome more volunteers into their team of dedicated members.

Examples of previous exhibitions that the KCG have attended:

In this exhibit, the KCG members took inspiration from old knit patterns to re work and create new items with a modern twist, changing the shaping or the yarns used. They had many compliments on their creations on the stall!

Recently, the KCG has been involved in an issue of Rowan Magazine documenting some beautiful pieces of irish crochet:

From my small bit of research into things that the KCG has been involved with its clear that they like to get out and about promoting themselves. The recent issue of Rowan Magazine where they had a feature is of paticular interest to us as we are quite interested in submitting for Selvedge magazine for this project.
