Abbey Price- Art/Design Patterns In The Jaeger 80's & 90's Knit Patterns

On the second visit to Lee Mills on Friday the 7th of March we continued to archive the Jaeger knit
patterns the selection of patterns we archived during this visit was a large range of patterns from the 80's and 90's, this was an interesting era of patterns to look through as many of the designs are more modern and design focused than the patterns we archived during the previous session. Throughout the session I found I was drawn to the design work that the Jaeger knit patterns had alongside the technical information.

Whilst we were archiving the knit patterns we thought that many of the designs would work in knit designs at the current time. I liked this design best because of the colour palette and the way the pattern works across the jumper. I think after this project has been completed it will be interesting to study the patterns within my own design work.
