This is the book that I was talking about that relates to my interest in Art into Knit. 
compared to the books I found at the archive about Art in knitting patterns, I believe that this one shows the clearest vision from the pottery to chart pattern to knitted garments.

 

this is the jumper that I mentioned my mother was knitting, it has influenced me to look at hand knit intarsia patterning. this is because it is something that is very complex and looks so beautiful.
